Job Role: Employment Mentor
Location: Perth, WA
Describe a typical days work at the Foundation: Every day varies, depending on the needs and requirements of both our VTEC participants and also the employers we work closely with. We work with our participants to ensure they are as ready as can be for employment whether that be; writing a resume, becoming more physically fit or just being there to offer support to each and every individual that we support. We work with employers to ensure that the job opportunities they provide us, we are preparing our candidates the best possible way we can to help them succeed and follow their dreams
Favourite part of being a mentor: Having the ability to influence and help people achieve what they want to achieve by passing on knowledge and creating opportunities for people to express themselves.
Personal inspiration: My parents.
