She is a qualified Forensic Scientist and Ornithologist with over ten years’ experience in ASX Top 20 companies within various roles including Environmental, Security and Emergency Management, Human Resources and Corporate Affairs functions. She is passionate about supporting the self-determination of First Nations Communities with a particular passion for promoting First Nations businesses, recognising the broader ripple effects beyond the transactional economic benefit that this creates.

Shirley is a descendant of the Widi Mob and Southern Yamatji Claims through Ap-barra and Dharringa. Acknowledged as an outstanding leader, her experience spans Indigenous business and strategy development, finance and accountancy, land acquisition, community and corporate leadership and governance, employment, training, mediation and facilitation.

Raylene is a Nanda woman from Yamatji Country. She has been working with Aboriginal businesses supporting them with capacity building and project planning & delivery. She uses her unique understanding of Aboriginal culture and heritage and Corporate business knowledge to support effective Aboriginal supply chain management within projects.

Before joining the Waalitj Hub, Michael was a Business Coach at Many Rivers, specialising in business start-ups. Born and raised in Geraldton, Michael has spent more than 30 years working in the Mid-West region in management roles at St John Ambulance and Nazareth House Geraldton.

Verity is a Noongar woman with Western Arrernte and Channel Islander heritage and maintains strong engagement across community and advocacy sectors. Verity has spent the previous eight years working in the Enforcement Division of the Australian Competition & Consumer Commission. Verity is a qualified lawyer (currently non-practicing) with a keen interest in intellectual property, biodiversity and environmental recovery.

Bianca has 30 years combined experience across business and project management, local government, grant writing, procurement, human resources, employment and community services sectors through NFP, State and Federal Government, Corporate and Philanthropic organisations. Her passion is to develop capability and capacity within Regional communities. Through her role, she supports businesses across the Goldfields-Esperance Region, working cohesively with Native Title Groups to leverage Aboriginal business outcomes to drive generational impact.
