Waalitj Foundation staff form part of the Real Support Network, delivering holistic prisoner-focused services that support the rehabilitation and reintegration of Prisoners at Acacia Prison.

Employment Support for Aboriginal Men
The Foundation’s RSN team specialise in the delivery of employment and training services to Aboriginal males aged 18-28 both in a custodial setting and upon release to the community.
Staff are based in Acacia Prison delivering group sessions and working on an individual basis with prisoners to improve their employability with throughcare support into community. Waalitj Foundation staff utilise existing employer networks to place clients into sustainable and culturally appropriate employment opportunities.

Collaborative Network to Reduce Recidivism
The Network is a group of likeminded organisations that deliver collaborative services across key areas of focus determine as critical to overcoming barriers leading to recidivism. Other RSN members include Community Transitions, SHINE for Kids, Wungening Aboriginal Corporation, Aboriginal Males Healing Centre and Real Futures.
