SUPPORT FOR FIRST NATIONS STUDENTS

The Indigenous Scholarships Program is aimed at increasing the number of Indigenous Australians with tertiary and vocational qualifications to improve employment outcomes, with a specific focus in the resources sector.

The Indigenous Scholarship Program includes tertiary, vocational and high school scholarships. Tertiary and vocational scholarships include both financial and mentoring support and leadership development and networking opportunities. The Foundation, with funding from Shell QGC, provides a financial bursary to the successful recipient for the duration of their approved course of study.

High School scholarships include attendance at a High School Camp, a small financial bursary and ongoing mentoring.

Priority will be given for Indigenous applicants studying Shell QGC related disciplines and Indigenous applicants from Traditional Owner Groups in Shell’s QGC operational footprint.
