A New Way to Support Your Journey to Employment

05 November 2025
The Remote Australia Employment Services (RAES) is replacing the Community Development Program (CDP) - and it’s designed with you in mind.

We are proud to continue delivering remote employment services under the new Remote Australia Employment Services (RAES).

RAES is the new and improved version of the Community Development Program (CDP). It’s designed to better support job seekers in remote communities by focusing on your strengths, respecting your culture, and offering more flexible, personalised support. This service will work with participants to help them get ready to move into a job. It will also offer opportunities for job seekers to be engaged in local projects in their community if they are unable to work or they are on the pathway to finding a job.

What’s new?

  • Flexible and supportive: RAES focuses on your strengths and interests.
  • Culturally responsive: Respecting your background and community.
  • Personalised job plans: Created with your mentor, reviewed regularly.
  • Inclusive for all: Tailored support for people with disabilities.
  • Community projects: Get involved in activities that matter to you.
  • Safe and private: Your information is protected and handled with care.

Who can join?

  • If you are unemployed and receiving government support in a remote area, RAES is for you.
  • Voluntary participation is welcome too!

Let’s Connect! We’re visiting our sites soon:
