Anthony Henry, a 29-year-old Noongar man, has successfully launched the official website for his fencing company, Wardong West Fencing. Anthony has been in the trade industry for over 5 years, where he has obtained new skills and developed a strong passion for fencing, leading him to start his own business.
Anthony’s Business Coach, Jaime, has been supporting with Anthony with his business for 6 months and has helped him achieve his goal of launching his very own business website. Anthony happily stated, “Having a personalised business coach, like Jaime, that helps you make your dream into a reality.”
Indigenous businesses, like Wardong, have access to a wide range of free services through our Waalitj Hub. Some of these services include mentoring from business coaches, industry connections and independent professional services.
Anthony said the motivation for launching his business is providing for his community.
“Having opportunities for community and family members is what inspires and drives me”
