DSG 2025 Netball Carnival

01 July 2025
Over 80 Deadly Sista Girlz gathered at the Gold Netball Centre to participate in the annual DSG Netball Carnival!

Over 80 young athletes gathered to participate in the Gold Netball Centre for the annual Deadly Sista Girlz (DSG) Netball Carnival.

The DSG tournament brought together 12 standout teams from across Perth and WA. Teams from St Brigid’s College, John Tonkin College, Fremantle College, Armadale Senior High School, Yule Brook College, Governor Stirling Senior High School, Southern River College, Darling Range Sports College, Katanning Senior High School and Halls Head College, St Mary’s College, Northam Senior Highschool, Champion Bay Senior Highschool, joined the competition.

The teams took part in an intense round robin contest for 6 successive rounds over the course of three hours.

And whilst the competition was fierce, it was professional, respectful, and all the girls demonstrated sportswomanship. Athletes brought their best game and determination with the spirit of solidarity and competitiveness!

After a brief break for lunch, the teams met for the finals where their peers, parents, families and mentors watched on. Even after three hours of play, all teams were refreshed and ready for the final round.

Congratulations to our winners, Darling Range Sports College, and all the Deadly Sista Girlz who took part in this year’s carnival. Thank you to the team who helped put it all together as well.
