As part of Sir Doug Nicholls Round, some of our Waalitj Hub businesses will showcase their products in the Waalitj Moort Markets at the Waalitj Marawar (West Coast Eagles) match at Optus Stadium this Sunday!

Yalkarang was founded by Tamara Tucker, a Noongar/Yamatji woman passionate about helping others grow in their understanding of Aboriginal culture and language. Their products include Dolls, Hats, Mats, Stickers and Water bottles.

Visions OF Tomorrow is a sustainable-thinking fashion brand founded in 2021 by Bronson Richards, a Ewamian & Kuku Yalanji man. The brand is built on the foundation of identity, innovation, and purpose-driven design, with a bold, vision of the future.

Kaarli

Kaarli is a proudly Indigenous-owned business sharing culture through everyday fashion. Their designs are created by Aboriginal artists, celebrating identity and storytelling through wearable art.

Jalbi Australia

Jalbi Australia honour their traditional connection to their maternal lineage and to country to bring you a range of natural products that combine traditional knowledge with extracts and essences from the Australian bush in a gentle formula that leaves your skin soft, squeaky clean and smelling fantastic.

Bibbullmun Nation Collective

Owned Lorraine Woods (Morrison), a Bibbullmun Yok born at Mogumber Mission on Yued Country. Lorraine uses her art and creations as a platform and learning tool to enable people to reflect and keep truth telling and yarns alive.

Other First Nations Businesses including Wens Dreams, Buy by Brenda, Get Scrunched by Roxy, Djookanka sisters, Juri Clay Designs, and Liyan will also be present with their products, so make sure you come by and support First Nations entrepreneurs.

The Waalitj Foundation team will be there with merchandise giveaways and art activities.

Sir Doug Nicholls Round is the AFL’s annual celebration of the extraordinary contribution First Nations peoples have made and continue to make to football. In 2026, the celebration will take place across two rounds: Round 10 and Round 11, Thursday 14 May – Sunday 24 May.

Through the Waalitj Hub, First Nations business owners have access to a wide range of free services, including state-of-the-art facilities, mentoring from business coaches, industry connections, and independent professional services. Clients can receive specialised support in key business areas such as tendering, marketing, and legal. Since its establishment in 2020, the Waalitj Hub has assisted over 600 businesses in achieving their goals.

The Waalitj Hub supports Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people wanting to start, grow or sustain their businesses through a combination of in-house business coaching and access to professional support and is supported by the National Indigenous Australians Agency and Corporate partners. Find out more.
