Aboriginal businesses interested in available packages of works are invited to come down and have a yarn with our package managers.

Aboriginal businesses interested in available packages of works for the WCP are invited to come to the Waalitj Hub on Thursday 17th July 2025 between 3.00pm – 6.00pm (drop in during this time, but please register beforehand). Find out more about the project, have a yarn with our package managers and network with other Aboriginal businesses.

The Fiona Stanley Hospital Precinct WCP will see the first of two multi-deck car parks being constructed as part of the New Women and Babies Hospital Project, which when finished, will provide a combined total of approximately 2,500 parking bays.

The WCP will be seven storeys high, located at the corner of Jennalup Street and Winch Way in Murdoch on the southwestern edge of the precinct and will connect to the existing Public Car Park 2 (CP2) via a pedestrian bridge at Level 2.

The contract was awarded to Georgiou Group in January 2025, with design commencing in February 2025. The project is expected to be completed by mid-2027.

The project is funded by the Western Australian Government and is being delivered by the Department of Transport’s Office of Major Transport Infrastructure Delivery (OMTID).

The project scope of works includes:

• The new western multi-deck car park.

• Connection and modification to existing connecting roads and access road.

• Wayfinding systems and associated car parking technologies.

• Pedestrian bridge link and associated works.

• Provision of services to the new car park and relocation/protection of existing services.

Available packages include:

• Earthworks and pavements construction

• Plant hire (wet & dry hire)

• Service locating

• Inground drainage installation

• Traffic Management

• Road sweeper services

• Kerbing

• Landscaping

• Painting and anti-graffiti

• Fencing

• Traffic bollards

• Line marking and road signage

• Handrails & balustrades

• Doors and windows

• Ceilings & partitions

• Metal roofing

• Vinyl floor covering

• Blockwork

• Hydraulics

• Electrical and communications

• Mechanical

• Wheel stops and mirrors

• Concrete form and pour

• Steel reinforcement fixing

In addition to the above we are also interested in learning about businesses which offer ad-hoc services for signage, cleaning, consumable supplies, marketing & merchandise supply, stationery, printing, graphic design, coffee trucks, food vans, printing, car cleaning, catering, workshop facilitators, furniture, tools and equipment, sparkies, plumbers, handy man services, first aid / safety supplies, coffee supplies, photographers.
